Amid Russian- Ukraine war, the European Commission recently urged all EU governments to immediately end Golden passport schemes and set stricter checks and higher requirements for Golden visa programmes. It is expected that Greece would increase the requirements for its Golden visa program soon.
For now, the Greek Golden Visa Program grants a five-year residence permit with as low as a €250,000 real estate investment in Greece, which is known the lowest investment amount required within EU. You can include your family in the residency program. The residence permit granted to the non-EU/EEA citizens does not entitle them to work in Greece.

It usually takes 2-6 months to complete all process.
Non-EU citizens who have made an investment for the Greek Golden Visa program, can apply for a residence permit through a proxy, without the obligation to previously visit Greece. The Power of Attorney for the appointment of a proxy, must be signed before a Greek Consular authority. The non-EU citizen, must enter Greece within 12 months from the date of the confirmation of the temporary residence card, in order to submit the biometric data to have official residence card.
You may renew your Golden Visa residence permit every five years. You must fulfill the above conditions to be able to renew at the end of each five years.
